MEDIATIONS: Within Eastern Ontario, the fee for one half-day session of mediation is $1,600.00 plus HST, which includes preparation time and a mediation session of up to three hours to be held either in the morning or the afternoon. Half-day sessions are best suited to non-complex, two-party disputes. The fee for a full-day mediation session is $2,800.00 plus HST.  The full-day fee includes preparation time and a mediation session of up to 6 hours. In either case, time over and above the scheduled time is billed at $500.00 per hour. Facility costs, when required, are in addition to these fees. A premium will be charged for global mediations involving non-parties, multi-action mediations and mediations involving more than three parties.

ARBITRATIONS:  Within Eastern Ontario, the fee for arbitration is $3,000 per 6-hour hearing day, including preparation time of up to 2 hours per hearing day, plus $500.00 per hour for additional hearing time, pre-hearing conferences, additional preparation time, written decisions and the drafting of the award.

TRAVEL EXPENSES: Mediations and arbitrations held outside of the Ottawa region but within Eastern Ontario will attract travel costs in the form of a mileage expense and actual accommodation costs, if any.  Please call for details.

SESSIONS HELD OUTSIDE EASTERN ONTARIO: The session fee for either mediation or arbitration is $3,500.00 for up to 6 hours. This fee is inclusive of all travel expenses.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  There is no cancellation fee for half-day or one-day mediations or arbitrations cancelled at least 10 business days prior to the scheduled time. For scheduled sessions of 2 days or more in duration, there is no cancellation fee for sessions cancelled 30 days prior to the scheduled time. Cancellations outside of these time-lines are subject to a cancellation fee of 1/2 of the session fee plus incurred expenses and HST.
